Additionally, a portion of our sales goes towards supporting wellness workshops and internships for girls. We believe that every girl deserves the opportunity to reach her full potential.
Ayana Abdul-Raheem is a remarkable founder whose journey began during her time serving with Trenton Police Department.. Realizing the profound lack of resources available to girls in the child welfare and juvenile systems, Ayana took it upon herself to make a difference. She began by raising funds through selling bornWORTHY t-shirts to support basic needs such as toiletries. Immediately, she expanded her efforts by becoming a mentor to young girls, helping them navigate their life’s challenges and guiding them towards a brighter future.
the bornWORTHY. project was soon introduced as an initiative to champion wellness and self-care as fundamental values for everyone. The project is committed to empowering and supporting the community by providing them with the resources they need to thrive. Ayana’s dedication to her community and her commitment to improving the lives of young girls is truly a testament to the foundational values cultivated in bornWORTHY.
